I Got Owned!

They say that one man's easy, century-recovery-ride is another man's butt-kicking, longest-ride-of-the-season, survival-fest. This certainly was the case yesterday, when I rode to Red Bluff and back with Mr. Souphouse, aka Stanley to my Ollie. The fact that he was on his Cyclocross bike and I was on my "Fast Bike" didn't help matters of ego much either. I am here today to debunk the myth that Cyclocross training and Mt. Bike riding are good ways to get ready for Road Season. I would say it's the other way 'round. Regular 50-100 mile road rides is how you get ready for Road Season!
